Guide to Good Eatin'
Sometimes cookin' at home just don't feel right. Maybe you're too tired from haybaylin' or cattle rearin', or you just can't right catch a decent size vermin for the grill. But never you worry, they's plenty of places 'round here you can go for some fine home cookin the whole family will enjoy.
Breakfast- Aunt Betty Mae's Pancake Palace
For you early risers lookin for a hearty bite 'fore you get ready to hop on your rig, ain't nothin' better than Betty Mae's Pancake Palace where you can get her famous 10-Stack Flapjacks with a side of her personally made raspberry jam. If pancakes ain't your fancy, then try out her Tasty-Texas-Tater-Tots or my favorite, the Ham and Eggs Benedict Arnold. Aunt Betty herself is up early every morning to get breakfast ready for her regular crowd of truckers and farmers fillin' their bellies 'fore their long day of work.Family- Colonel Eddie's All-You-Can-Eat Boot Camp
For a meal fit for a family of twelve, Colonel Eddie's All-You-Can-Eat Boot Camp is perfect for anyone with a hearty appetite. Here you'll find everything from good ole' fashioned biscuits, gravy and country-fried steak to ethnic eats like spaghetti and meatballs. Just five dollars or twenty push-ups will get a plate you can fill up as many times as your belly can handle. Some special meals are Col. Eddie's 1/2 lb. Bazooka Burgers. But before you get up for your seventh helping, make sure you save room for Col. Eddie's At Ease Ice Cream Bar with a full selection of flavors and toppings. Decorated with army decor from Col. Eddie's years in Vietnam and Kuwait like rifles, empty missiles and hand grenade salt & pepper shakers on each table. There's even an obstacle course with tires and ropes for the little tykes to enjoy, just make sure that Col. Eddie ain't watchin' or he'll be barkin' at ya just like he used to in his army days.Barbecue- Hickory Jack's Blazin' BBQ Pit
With a hickory wood-burning barbecue pit in the middle of the shack, you know Hickory Jack is about quality BBQ. Anything that can fit on a grill, Hickory Jack's got it. Fresh caught 'possum, raccoon and armadillo are local favorites at Jack's. For regular BBQ lovers Jack's got his famous Double Slab O' Ribs served with Hickory Jack's own BBQ sauce in three flavors: Hot, Steamin and Welcome to Heck. On the side, be sure to try Hickory Jack's Snake Fries, a favorite amongst the youngins. Hickory Jack's also got a large choice of ice cold brews served in a frosty mug to help put out the fire in your mouth. Hickory Jack's a great place to go for any occasion: junior high school graduation, newly paroled or you can use his special reserve ballroom for wedding receptions. Just don't go orderin a salad or Hickory Jack will put your picture up on his Wall of Veggies.Featured Restaurant Products:
