Enus: Welcome to At the Drive-In with Enus & Otis. I'm Enus and this here's Otis.

Otis: Today we's is gonna talk about the movie Brokeback Mountain we done saw at the local drive-in in our Chevy Pickup while drinkin' PBRs.

E: This movies got Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger playin' two cowboys named Jack Twist and Ennis Del Mar.

O: Ennis? He's got your name!

E: Yeah but he don't spell it like I do.

Weren't you payin' attention to the movie?

O: Sure I was.

E: What's it about then?

O: This movie is about umm... an epic love story set against the sweeping vistas of Wyoming and Texas, uh, Brokeback Mountain tells the, um, story of two young men- a ranch hand and a rodeo cowboy who,uh, meet in the summer of 1963 and unexpectedly forge a lifelong connec...

E: Dangit Otis, you is just readin' that from the poster.

O: Am not!

E: Am too, I can see it right there behind you. I knew you wasn't watchin' the movie. You were too busy talkin' to Candy Sue.

O: I can't help it. Candy Sue's got some real big hootenanners. But I done seen the movie.

E: Alright what else happened then?

O: Well, theys these two cowboys and they herd sheep out on the mountain. They also rustle up cattle and go down to the rodeo to see a show. Then theys go home to their wives and families and uh....live happily ever after.

E: That it?

O: Oh and theys also milk cows.

E: Hot dang Otis, you done made all that up.

O: Did not.

E: Did too. If you did see the dang thing you might know these two cowboys ain't ridin' their horses the same way as other cowboys.

O: You mean they ain't usin' a saddle?

E: Nah dummy! I mean they's in love with each other.

O: You mean theys a couple of pony huggers?! Dangit Enus! You didnt say nothin' bout seein' no love story bout two gay cowboys.

E: Cuz I knew you woulda put up a fuss if I said somethin'. Otis, you're like everybody else out there. As soon as you hear gay cowboy, you start talkin' nasty before you even seen the dang thing.

O: I aint no pony hugger, Enus. Pappy done said he'd knock out both my teeth if he found out I's a pony-hugger.

E: The movie aint all about pony-huggin Otis.

O: What's it about then?

E: It's about the rest of society tryin' to tell you how you oughta be even if it ain't how you is. It's about acting how you feel inside and not how people tells ya. These boys nearly ruined they lives pretendin' to be somethin' they ain't.

O: Dang Enus, you soundin' just like the Ennis in the movie. Maybe this movie made you a little Brokeback yourself.

E: You hush up 'fore I knock you in the head, ya hear?

O: If you want we can stop over at the mini-mart and pick you up a purdy dress for the hoe-down next week?

E: You watch it Otis.

O: Shucks you'll be the belle of the ball! All the boys are gonna be wantin' to dance with you.

(Enus punches him)

OW!!

E: I warned you Otis.

O: You done punched me in the nose Enus!

E: That'll teach you to call me Brokeback. Well that's all the time we got here for this week of At the Drive-In with Enus & Otis.

O: I think you done Brokebacked my nose.

E: Y'all come back next time for another review of our trips at the drive-in, ya hear!
